Weather in Istria in June: Temperature, Sea & Tips

Many consider June one of the most beautiful months in southern Istria. Daytime temperatures usually reach 26 to 27 °C, and the days are the longest of the year with more than 15 hours of daylight. The sea averages around 23 °C and finally invites you in for a swim. The main school summer holidays in many countries have usually not yet begun, so there is still room on the beaches of Pomer, Medulin and Premantura. All restaurants, beach bars and excursion operators are up and running. According to visitpula.hr, the higher peak-season rate for cars applies at Cape Kamenjak from mid-June. The concert season begins at the Pula Arena, and from the end of June the gladiator re-enactments "Spectacvla Antiqva" take place.
